About the Job:

Our client is a prominent supplier and installer specializing in Accreditation, Crowd Management, and Access Control Systems. They are recognized for their expertise in the low voltage systems industry, providing cutting-edge solutions such as CCTV and access control to a diverse client base.

Position Summary:

As the ELV Systems Manager, you will oversee the management and integration of various ELV systems through the Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM) platform. This role encompasses the operation, maintenance, and integration of systems including Fire Alarms, Building Management Systems (BMS), Public Addressing (PA) Systems, Lighting Control, CCTV, Structural Analysis Computer Systems (SACS), AV Systems, ELV networks, and Security & Telecommunication Systems.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage ELV Service Providers:
    • Oversee activities through the CAFM platform.
    • Schedule Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) with service providers.
    • Review, advise, approve, or reject techno-commercial proposals.
    • Monitor system performance, witness inspections, and coordinate rectifications.
    • Supervise fit-out works related to ELV systems.
  2. Advisory, Service, & Support:
    • Prepare SLA/KPI for service providers.
    • Assist Procurement in verifying plans, drawings, and specifications.
    • Manage day-to-day operations and address technical challenges.
    • Conduct coordination meetings and asset visits.
    • Liaise with regulatory authorities for approvals.
  3. Command Centre Management:
    • Maintain operational readiness of the command centre.
    • Develop guidelines for ELV systems and generate health/performance reports.
    • Ensure adherence to OEM recommendations and engineering practices.
  4. FM Planning:
    • Assist in developing FM plans and manage budgets.
    • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Act as primary contact for stakeholders and ensure compliance.
  5. Policies and Procedures:
    • Follow departmental policies and procedures.
    • Ensure adherence to quality, health, safety, and environmental standards.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical & Electronics, Telecommunication, or Computer Science).

Knowledge & Technical Skills:

  • Facility Management experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge of ELV systems.
  • Proficiency in CAFM, reporting, and analytical tools.
  • Expertise in industry standards and protocols.

Minimum Experience:

  • 5-8 years in Facility Management of ELV systems.

Language Proficiency:

  • Expert in English; Arabic proficiency is advantageous.
