Job Title: Network Administrator

Location: Columbus, OH (Hybrid 2x per week Onsite)
Duration: 6-12 Months

Job Summary: With general direction, you will analyze LAN/WAN systems, including planning, designing, evaluating, and selecting operating systems/protocol suites. You will resolve complex interoperability problems to maintain operations across all platforms and configure complex systems for user environments. We are looking for Network Administrators with 2+ years of experience with Enterprise Firewall Administration (Palo Alto preferred). Candidates must be local to the Columbus, OH area.

Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day system analysis and support (monitoring, troubleshooting, configuring, reporting, implementing, installing, and upgrading network hardware/software).
• Plan, design, evaluate, select, implement, test, document, and maintain Network (LAN/WAN) systems.
• Perform network needs assessment and evaluate new technology to improve network operations/performance.
• Act as a key member of the Networking Team by providing recommendations to help maintain a high level of availability of systems.
• Ensure completion of assigned projects/tasks within time, cost, and scope constraints.
• Provide advanced technical expertise, consulting, and support to staff members.
• Engage external vendors when necessary to resolve issues.
• Participate in on-call rotational support during off-hours.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems; five years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience in a related field.
• Requires a background that would not preclude a security clearance granted.
• Experience with structured cabling standards.
• Experience with Layer 2/3 configuration and troubleshooting.
• Experience in Enterprise Level Firewall administration.
