The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our Dubai office to play a leading role in the development of our civil engineering team and the design of some of the most exciting and prestigious civil engineering design projects in the UAE and worldwide.
Working alongside a team of specialist engineers and technicians, as well as colleagues across a range of various engineering disciplines, you will ensure the delivery of technically excellent and profitable projects.
You will take responsibility for all aspects of design across a numerous and varied portfolio of civil engineering projects, concerned predominantly with infrastructure within the built environment.
You will have the opportunity over time to assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy as your professional skills develop and will be supported towards Chartership (CEng) if not already achieved.
The Skills
Educated to degree level in Civil Engineering (MEng or BEng), and having already achieved or working towards achieving chartership with the Institution of Civil Engineers (CEng or equivalent), you should have demonstrable experience in a Civil Engineering role within a consultancy environment, and be well versed in relevant civil design software such as AutoCAD, GIS, Water GEMS, Sewer GEMS, Info Drainage and Civil 3D.
You will have relevant or working experience in civil engineering design relating to the built environment, including the design and interfacing of infrastructure (for example wet utilities design, dry utility interfaces and requirements, drainage systems, utility infrastructure coordination and spatial planning.
An understanding of earthworks and highways would also be advantageous). The candidate shall have experience in developing schemes ranging from Concept and Detailed Masterplanning on to Detailed Design and Construction with an understanding of approval process.
Experience of infrastructure as part of buildings projects working closely with other disciplines would also be an advantage.
