Job Description:

In this role, you will be responsible for supervising the leadership of IT strategic and operational planning to achieve the organization's strategic objectives. You will oversee the design of systems and processes necessary for the efficient and effective delivery of IT services and provide advice to senior management on IT projects and related government initiatives. Your duties will include supervising the preparation of feasibility studies for implementing projects, programs, and technical applications, as well as planning and implementing technology, information security, and data analysis projects. You will present progress and completion reports to the director and relevant organizational units and follow up periodically on the progress of technical projects both internally and externally.

Additionally, you will lead the development and modernization of all IT systems within the organization, establishing department goals and procedures consistent with the strategic plan. This includes developing and updating IT procedures and standards, overseeing IT risk management plans to ensure business continuity, and implementing government requirements for smart services and electronic security. You will also be responsible for developing and documenting IT management policies, procedures, systems, and processes, defining standards for all IT systems and devices, and ensuring compliance with government excellence standards and digital transformation frameworks.

Your role will involve assessing the organization’s systems and software needs in line with international best practices, developing and applying information security policies, and selecting and evaluating protection products for cybersecurity. You will supervise technical support for the organization’s IT devices, systems, and networks, manage outsourcing contracts with IT service suppliers, and oversee the development and modernization of the organization’s website and digital systems. Furthermore, you will prepare the financial budget for the organization's annual IT needs, review project requirements, approve payments, and prepare periodic reports and data analysis related to IT.

You will be tasked with raising the efficiency of employees, nominating them for specialized courses and workshops, and evaluating their performance. Communication with providers, designing and implementing new computer systems and software offerings, and managing the development and implementation of IT systems will also be part of your responsibilities. Adherence to information security policies and supporting initiatives to raise the employee happiness index are essential. You will perform any other tasks as directed by your direct supervisor.
