Editorial standards and job source review

This page explains what we check, what we write ourselves, what we cannot guarantee, and how readers can ask us to correct or remove material.

Our purpose

Hirings Online is a job discovery and recruitment workspace. Candidates use it to find openings, prepare applications, check resumes, and maintain profiles. Employers and recruiters use it to publish jobs and manage applicants. Our editorial work should help a reader make a safer or better-informed employment decision; it should not exist simply to create another search result.

We distinguish between information supplied by an employer, facts visible on an official source, and guidance written by the Hirings Online Editorial Team. We do not claim to be the employer unless a job was posted by an employer account, and a listing on this site is never a promise of an interview, offer, visa, salary, or continued vacancy.

How we review externally sourced jobs

Our preferred source is the employer's own careers page or application system. Government vacancy services and authorized recruiting systems may also be used. A third-party listing is not treated as proof by itself when a direct source should exist.

Before publication

  • We open the specific vacancy URL, not only a company's general careers homepage.
  • We compare the title, hiring organization, location, application path, and deadline when the employer publishes one.
  • We check that the role has enough detail for a candidate to assess basic fit.
  • We write an original briefing instead of copying the employer's full job notice.
  • We avoid adding salary, visa eligibility, remote eligibility, or closing dates that the source does not support.

After publication

Imported listings carry a source-check date. They must be checked again within 30 days to remain active, and they may be removed sooner when the application page closes, redirects to an unrelated page, or materially changes. Jobs with a verified employer deadline are expired after that date. If the employer provides no closing date, any date shown as our next review date is labelled as such and is not represented as the employer's deadline.

Some job pages let a candidate express interest on Hirings Online while also linking to an employer source. Unless the page explicitly says that Hirings Online is handling recruitment for that employer, an expression of interest does not replace the employer's required application and does not guarantee that the employer receives it.

How we prepare career articles

Career guides are selected because they support a real user task represented on the platform: evaluating a job, tailoring a resume, interviewing remotely, applying safely, or managing recruitment work. We consolidate or retire articles that are dated, repetitive, weakly sourced, or no longer connected to useful tools and active inventory.

A publishable guide should add original explanation, a usable checklist, a worked example, a decision framework, or source-backed context. It should clearly separate facts from opinion, link to primary sources when a claim needs verification, and avoid promising search rankings, earnings, hiring outcomes, or immigration results.

Bylines and review

Articles are published by the Hirings Online Editorial Team because research, editing, technical implementation, and updates may involve more than one contributor. The byline links to this methodology. The modified date identifies a content update; it does not mean every external fact was rechecked unless the article says so.

AI and automated assistance

We may use software or AI-assisted tools to help organize notes, identify missing fields, improve formatting, or prepare a first draft. Automation is not treated as an authority. A source-backed job still requires a specific source URL and an editorial check, and an article must be reviewed for unsupported claims, duplication, usefulness, and tone before publication.

We do not intentionally publish large numbers of pages generated only to target keyword variations. Location and category pages should exist when there is enough current inventory or substantial editorial value to answer the searcher's need.

Corrections, removals, and conflicts

Employers, candidates, and readers can report an expired role, broken source, ownership concern, factual error, or unsafe application path. Send the page URL and a short explanation to support@hirings.online or use our contact form. We prioritize active application risks and employer removal requests.

When a correction changes the meaning of an article or listing, we update the page and its modified date. When a vacancy is no longer available, we expire it and remove its job-search structured data. When an article no longer provides distinct value, we consolidate it into a stronger guide or remove it from publication.

Hirings Online may earn revenue from advertising or paid platform services. Commercial relationships do not buy favorable editorial conclusions or permission to publish misleading jobs. Sponsored or promoted placement should be identifiable and remains subject to the same safety and accuracy rules.
